They've been warning everyone within earshot that we were going to be

having a helluva rain storm! Flooding, high winds, miserable... but?

It's barely raining here... nothing unusual from any other rain storm!!

No high winds, no crazy downpours, not a damn thing!! :grr:

I fucking HATE sensationalists!! Maybe I'm speaking to early on this

but they DID say after midnight and it's 10 AM! :grr:

Talk about freaking people out! "There ought to be a law!!" Dagnabbit!!

On Edit:

Now they're saying we're in for another 'round of downpours!!

We haven't had ONE yet!!!

4. No water here but I'm worried about the roof on my cabin and
this will be the beginning of mud season with a vengence! Coming home yesterday afternoon was bad enough because there was melting and my dirt road was rutted and slippery...almost worse than ice. I guess I can be happy that all this moisture will recharge the aquifers.

5. I hope you can shovel some of that snow off your roof.
It's not often we have a winter so fierce that we have to worry about that. And speaking of mud, my sister lives in the Lakes region and one spring the mud in her driveway literally sucked my shoes off!

3. For days they were telling us about the major snow storm we were
going to get here in MI. "UP TO 12 INCHES!!!" even... Then, yesterday, they quietly said impending doom was not going to happen after all.
