2. The fuck is / are "Apple Bottom Jeans," and why?
I'm a bit behind the old social-culture curve, as usual.

4. It is a crappy song that keeps getting played on the radio.
Inevitably, at my work, someone has the radio on the station that plays this shitty song every other 10 minutes. It is a virulent earworm, and will pull apart your brain piece by piece.

6. Oh, God, I feel sorry for you (no sarcasm). I remember when I used to work for
a company rather than for myself, and I know that stuff really WILL sandpaper your nerves.

8. Doesn't it, though?
I think of how many wonderful songs and artists there are, and they literally play this song every 40 minutes or so.

10. Reason #1 why I haven't listened to commercial radio for over 30 years. I'll only listen
to NPR for news and Caqr Talk, and college stations for music.

13. I HATE that "song" with a passion!
The song is called "Low" by Flo-Rida (Florida deliberately misspelled, with the accent on the second syllable). It's about some pathetic sexist man-child lusting after an exotic dancer in a strip club. "Low" is low in more ways than one: low class, sexist, and like most commercial rap, stereotype black men as sex-crazed animals, which I'm sure most of them are not.
