1. Anglos prefer "Joshua" which is closer to the Hebrew name Y'shua
than the Greek-derived "Jesus".

2. Because it isn't trendy enough
http://www.trendybabynames.com/

Examples:
Acton: A boy's name. From a place name meaning "Oak Town". A nice sporty sounding name!

Admiral: A boy's name. Meaning: The Commander in Chief of a fleet. Quite a few people from the 1880's(sic) U.S. census had this name.

Aeon: A boy's name. Meaning; An immeasurable or infinite space of time; eternity. A really neat alternative to "Ian"

Agate: A neutral name. From a variety of quartz crystal. Said to have the magickal(sic) powers of strength, courage, longevity, love, healing and protection.

Albany: A neutral name. The state capital of New York. A fresh new place name.

In case you're wondering, Jesus isn't included in the Js.

3. God, people who breed are stupid
those names are ridiculous.

Stick to the biblical names like Jebediah, Hezekiah, and Obediah and you can't go wrong.
