Any catchy, clever, dreamy, beautiful, snappy, gorgeous or otherwise fabulous songs that I should have that will make my life a little more complete? :hi:

2. I've been meaning to check them out more.
Hey, I might be over 40 but I like to keep up with the kids, you know? ;)

I've heard "I'd bet you'd look good on the dance floor." I like the neo-80s stuff a lot.

Thanks. I wasn't familiar with her.

10. Ah. Good suggestions. I don't have those on my iPod.
I've got an old cassette tape by Kate Bush, but, jeez, talk about ancient technology.

15. Thanks for the suggestion.
I don't know much about opera, but I've got a track by Pavarotti that gives me chills, and I'd like to get into it a little more.

7. a really bright oldie by the Beatles
Edited on Tue Mar-11-08 06:10 PM by Capn Sunshine
although the temptation to Rickroll is strong...

This tune really picked up my spirits after a brutal day in the markets Monday

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QTktu8TzB00

I was going to ask the younger DUers to listen to it and tell me what they thought, because it's just so different from things today.

I forgot how fantastic the Beatles were, I intentionally haven't listened to them for awhile.
Plus, they just got added to the Itunes catalogue!

11. That's a good one. I tend to like the Beatle songs that received less airplay.
I mean, their hits are great, but I think I've heard "Let it Be" about 5,000 times. :)

16. Anything by Jim Boggia.
I'm partial to the "Fidelity Is The Enemy" album, but "Safe In Sound" is also very good.

17. Life is a Rock (But the Radio Rolled Me) by Reunion
It's an oldie

It's catchy, but does turn to an ear worm

It's a fun activity (picking all of the quickly sung group names out and/or trying to sing them as fast as the song)

I have Napster, so I don't know if you can buy it on I-Tunes

BTW, I have had "Discotheque" by U2 stuck in my head for 3 days.

19. anything by The Wild Swans
I just found out that a couple of their albums on Sire from the mid-80s were reissued. I used to own them on vinyl, so I was quite happy to say the least.

I recommend the tracks "Bible Dreams" and "Bringing Home the Ashes". Also, "Melting Blue Delicious" is quite fun/goofy and goof for a larf.

22. Thousands and thousands
But in order to save bandwidth, I suggest you listen to my Pandora station in my signature. If you hear a song you like, there is a link in the player that allows you to purchase the tune off of Amazon or iTunes.

If that doesn't float your boat, you should create your own Pandora radio station, seed it with artists and songs you like, and Pandora will automatically find similar songs and play them for you.

Can you tell that I love Pandora? It rocks!
