Since it's spring break and I don't have to think about MOSFETs or z-transforms for a week or so, I'm enraptured by the prospect of pleasant conversation. I've been on the Internet since about 1987 and frankly I don't recognize the old place anymore, but this seems like the kind of haven for inside jokes, mutual support, and snarkiness that Usenet was back in the Elder Days. So I think I'm going to drop my usual haunts of GDP and Guns for a while and remind myself why the Internet was worth being invented...
