Man, westerners are embarrassing
I was on the Seoul transit system yesterday when a bunch of dorks wearing Guiness attire were being rude and obnoxious and whooping up the fact Saint Patrick's day is coming. One of them was shoving his female friend to a young Korean guy saying, "Hey, she likes you, she likes you."

I turned to my hosts and said, "Sorry about the white people."

1. Hence a reason I can never travel out of this country with some of my freinds.
We wouldn't be rude like that, shoving each other into the locals, but we would be unbelievably loud and obnoxious with one another. It's jsut how we are. We try to calm down in public, but it doesn't always work.

11. Honey I'm the best
I can teach dance to men with two left feet. Seriously. I can even teach white dudes to get rhythym with some intense work which includes tapping out the beat on the guys chest..I think that gets their attention....;) and yes, that is dead true.
If you can spell tango, I can get you to dance it.

6. A friend in college told me this story
In high school his track and field team to Beijing. One day he and a couple of other guys were in a department store, on the elevator. A Chinese woman got on holding a baby.

My friend smiled and said, "Hello, that's a very ugly baby. You have one ugly baby."

The woman looked at him and said, "I'm from New York, asshole."

7. Last time I was in Italy, there was this US couple on a train near us playing some kind of gameboy
and you could hear all the sound effects through our whole area on the train. Nothing against gameboys or whatever handheld game it was, but it was loud and constant. And they each had a giant size McDonalds coffee, which was sort of amazing because in the whole time I was in Italy I never saw a McDonalds. But they managed to find one.

10. Not just a Westerner thing, sometimes its an American thing
I have a friend who lives in Sydney Australia and he says that American's are easily picked out by the loud voices saying "G'Day Mate" to everyone in very bad attempts of Australian accents.
