You're sentenced to die - what's your last meal?
Feel free to get creative.

Me, I want New England boiled dinnah; the kind with potatoes and turnips (but no parsnips) like we're making today. If I'm sentenced to die on a Thursday in New England, this shouldn't be a problem.

So what say you DU? And remember, you can actually request some combination of 50 meals or so, based on that famous website listing last meals.

2. This makes me think of the CSI where the guy was sentenced to death.
For his last meal he requested a peanut butter sandwich. He was allergic. Death on his own terms I guess. So I guess I would try and find something I was allergic to.

Prior to my posting this thread, I had this exact same convo with Bi-Baby - "Didn't some choose a meal that would make the most mess, or is that just an urban legend?"

to make it unpleasant for them :)

Beef Stew
Tortellini Pizza from Antonio's in Amherst
Lasagna
Fettucine Alfredo
A spinach salad with vine ripened tomatoes and fresh mozzarella, and balsamic vinaigrette
A cheeseburger
Kraft Mac and Cheese
Oscar Mayer Bologna
Coca Cola
Coffee
Orange Juice, no pulp.

21. 2 cheeseburgers, onions fried in, mustard, pickles from Claud's in Tulsa...
and while the goons are picking that up, go down one block to the Coney I-lander and get me 3 cheese coneys with onions, mustard, jalapenos. Then back up Peoria to Center One and a cheesecake from Farrel's.

I've eaten in expensive, creative, exotic restaurants. But my fav foods are these two.

I would bank the court system that sentenced me to death.

and then I'd have some yummy Indian vegetarian curries (Palak Paneer (spinach) and Channa Masala (chickpeas) come to mind), garlic bread (the really good greasy kind), and a spinach salad with mandarin oranges, toasted almonds, and dried cranberries. And a slice of cherry cheesecake for dessert.

a "special" brownie a few hours earlier to really work up an appetite :)

Deep dish pizza with broccoli, green olives, garlic, and artichoke hearts (Nello's Pizza)
Mexican Hot Chocolate Pots de Creme (Cowboy Ciao's - a dark chocolate cinnamon and chili laced pot de creme with a chipolte creme floated on top with a layer of hard caramel served with a spicy ginger cookie - worth dying for)
Hummus with Arabic (not pita) bread (mine) on a garlic bagel
warm chocolate chip cookie pizza (Oregano's, BJ's, etc)
