Let's pause for a moment, and be grateful for toilet paper.

In Third World countries it is a luxury. In Mexico, I found out if there's a public toilet you don't have to pay to use (usually you had to pay), there may not be toilet paper, so you better carry some or some kleenex with you. In one place, the toilet was free, but you had to pay for the toilet paper.

A few generations back, many Americans used newspapers or old catalogs. In their outhouses. My grandparents had one until about 1960.

And throughout history, and even today in some poor countries, you'd be doing good to have that much.

We can take it for granted and buy all we want but my mom and my aunts used to have to make a roll last for like weeks or something :wow: Now we're all gonna have to start using less of everything and make less trash so we'll have to go back to that kinda.
