2. But it improved his voice
It's a damn good thing that they never made any sequels based on that film.

3. Well they didn't really leave any room for it, what with him winning The Prize at the end.
I mean, what's left that they could do? Ignore continuity? Or maybe they coulda gone completely whacko and made the immortals turn out to be space aliens, so they could bring more immortals to earth... from SPACE!!!

And while they're at it, they might as well bring back some of the characters that died, just for the fun of it.

4. Clearly you've lost your mind
What lunatic would ever green-light such a production?

7. Yeah, you're right.
It's be much safer to go with a TV spinoff series. Might even last a few seasons.

17. As well as Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix and others.
It's achingly sad that they died so young, but at least they didn't end up sliding down the cruel backside of fame, playing in half-empty halls and trying to stave off bankruptcy.

9. MacArthur was a total dick. Read Halberstons book on the Korean war.
All ego, refusal to accept reality because of his self created image. Horrible outcomes.

22. Colin Farrell. Went from C-list to mega-star overnight then crashed and burned almost as quickly.
I'm still kind of amazed he's not dead yet. Yes, I know he's not the only celebrity to have flamed out after a meteoric rise to fame, but Farrell (I thought) was going places because he actually had a modicum of talent. And then...splat.

24. The guy who wrote this little ditty...
On January 24th, 2009, in the oval office of the new Democratic president:

The Secretary of Defense is giving the President the daily briefing. He concludes by saying: "Yesterday, three Brazilian soldiers were killed."

"OH NO!" the President exclaims. "That's terrible!"

The President's staff sits stunned at this display of emotion, nervously watching as the President sits, head in hands.

Finally, the President looks up and says, "One Brazilian is too many! I am glad that we are beginning to draw down our presence in Iraq and put an end to this long national nightmare."

:hi:
