alert is also a friend if it is inappropriate, but just not liking something, wow... there's lots of things that people post here I don't like... I'm sure people don't like what I post. I don't care. I don't reply or I hide a thread. There are people I see there name and I'm like, oh, not going there thank you very much.

I guess in reality, posting about what someone doesn't like is just as much fair as posting what someone doesn't like.

Just remember folks, that there are people behind the keyboards and just because you may feel empowered to say what you want 'cause you can't see them, doesn't mean that people don't feel it on the other end. :shrug:

Problem is, it took over the front page of the Lounge this afternoon. It was ridiculous and being kicked ad nauseum strictly to annoy those who hate the incessant copycats. I used the hide function today for the first time. After 20-30 minutes (I'm slow to figure these things out) trying to hide them all (at the same time new ones were created) just so I could find a non-copycat thread, I said fuck it and left.

You know I'm a silly person. I don't think my humor is high-brow in the least. But taking over the Lounge with nothing but copycat after copycat after copycat is just rude to others who are trying to share, get advice, bitch and moan, and whatEVAH. That's my 2 cents on the matter. My head hurts and my throat hurts and I'm tired. Good night.

I use hide thread, but I agree it gets silly sometimes in here with copycat after copycat thread

but, I dunno, there are some other threads that people have posted previously that I found equally annoying and felt no need to dress down DU'ers on their differing sense of humor.

I find there is an ebb and flow here. I haven't been hanging here much lately because I find little to get excited about or say.

I dunno if that is me? Or if it the content or lack thereof? Really haven't given it much thought.

A few copycats = fine.

Many copycats that are unique and interesting = fine.

Dozens upon dozens of one-word copycats that take up the entire front page = annoying and cumbersome.
