Ugh. My nine-year-old decided to trim his own hair.
He said his bangs were getting in his face so he just pulled them straight and snipped them. He has curly hair so they sprang WAY up. He looks so ridiculous. I have been trying desperately not to laugh at him. Being the really nice mom that I am, I told him that he looks like a brunette version of one of the Children of the Corn.

Jack got into some blue paint/marker things and colored his face (among other things). I had to take him to preschool looking like a smurf. I didn't even bother explaining it to the teachers. I figure they know him...

The sheep's in the meadow,

21. And any green food coloring
My kid once decided to celebrate St. Patrick's Day in a unique and indelible way...

Amazing the number of people who will come up to you and say "Did you know your kid has green hair?", as if it were something that just didn't catch your attention.
