O proud left foot, that ventures quick within
Then soon upon a backward journey lithe.
Anon, once more the gesture, then begin:
Command sinistral pedestal to writhe.
Commence thou then the fervid Hokey-Poke.
A mad gyration, hips in wanton swirl.
To spin! A wilde release from heaven's yoke.
Blessed dervish! Surely canst go, girl.
The Hoke, the poke -- banish now thy doubt.
Verily, I say, 'tis what it's all about.

1. But it's the pelvic thrust...
It's just a jump to the left
And then a step to the right
With your hands on your hips
You bring your knees in tight
But it's the pelvic thrust that really drives you insane,
Let's do the Time Warp again!

I trumped your classy post with "Time Warp" lyrics. Ha ha!

I like large posteriors and I cannot prevaricate.
Thou other brothers cannot disavow
that when'st a lady promenades in
with a modest waist
and an ample attribute in thy face
thou gettest discharged

8. Nice post, Falstaff!
What's funny is those who look down on others people sense of humor and think Shakespeare is high culture must never have read any of his comedy. It's silly and naughty and aimed at the "unwashed masses". You and I, I believe would have been the "groundlings" that Shakespeare aimed his humor at.

13. Funny stuff, I must say....but.........
Is this a real line?

The Hoke, the poke -- banish now thy doubt.

Am I just crazy, or doesn't that line make you think of the hokey pokey?? Now I will have to go look up the origin of the hokey pokey song.

Do the hokey pokey and then turn yourself around, thats what it's all about !!

14. To be, or not to be; that is the bare bodkin that makes calamity of so long life...
...For who would fardels bear, till Birnam Wood do come to
Dunsinane, But that the fear of something after death Murders the
innocent sleep, Great nature's second course, And makes us rather sling
the arrows of outrageous fortune Than fly to others that we know not of.
There's the respect must give us pause: Wake Duncan with thy knocking! I
would thou couldst; For who would bear the whips and scorns of time, The
oppressor's wrong, the proud man's contumely, The law's delay, and the
quietus which his pangs might take, In the dead waste and middle of the
night, when churchyards yawn In customary suits of solemn black, But that
the undiscovered country from whose bourne no traveler returns, Breathes
forth contagion on the world, And thus the native hue of resolution, like
the poor cat i' the adage, Is sicklied o'er with care, And all the clouds
that lowered o'er our housetops, With this regard their currents turn
awry, And lose the name of action. 'Tis a consummation devoutly to be
wished. But soft you, the fair Ophelia: Ope not thy ponderous and marble
jaws, But get thee to a nunnery--go!
