So, I definitely have the flu...

Doctor called me in a cough syrup, told me to go home and rest. No work until MONDAY! I promised my boss I'd go in in the morning and forward my emails to the main email and then I'm coming home to sleep. So, four full days of rest and relaxation. I won't know what to do with myself.

3. Do what I've been doing...

sleep, crossword puzzles and soup (not that I've had much of an appetite the last few days). I've been out of commission since Monday and I still feel like death. Unfortunately I have to go to work tomorrow and then class tomorrow night. I just finished some homework in a Sudafed induced haze. I just need to feel better by Saturday because it's my birthday.

Take care of yourself and get lots of rest and fluids...it sucks being sick!

8. It does suck...

I'm trying to take care of myself. OF course the boss has called twice this morning. I was worried they were going to be pissed I was out of the office. They aren't, though. They are just lost without me. Which makes me feel really good.

9. Oh, she's such a good little wiener dog nurse.

She follows me around and does that howl/bark thing at me if I'm up for too long. Then I have to give her a treat and then sit down, at which time she immediately sits on me to keep me in my seat. It's all very adorable.

11. I was so disappointed!

They did call though, and that kind of made up for everything, but not completely. Anyway, I will be hanging out drinking lots of orange juice and water. Not to worry. And I haven't been very hungry lately, so no problem there. I've been having sorbet to make my throat feel better and to get a little nourishment.

My step mother has it, too. They sent her home with Tamiflu (sp)? I had to take her and my father dinner tonight because she was too sick to cook, but I didnt BREATH while I was in there !!
