There are four vehicles outside my office. The cubicle is next to me is empty.

I do have an extraordinary view of a Health and fitness club across the parking lot. Amazing how many SUV's are over there.

There are four people milling around outside my cubicle talking about the NCAA tournament (my apologies to those of you who hate sports.)

My daughter painted her fingernails blue, and spilled paint all over the floor.

My cat swallowed a barbie toy a couple of days ago. He seems to be doing much better today.

It's nearly 50 hear today.

I'll post another interesting and scintillating anecdote in an hour or so, for those of you are interested.

The names of the street in the neighborhood I grew up on were all names from a judge's diary. Weird names like Ironhorse Place and Kobe Way....

Supposedly, the street names correspond to things in Twain books, although I never saw the connection.

These were the streets in my neighborhood. If they'd named them "Huck Street" or "Sawyer Way", maybe it'd have made more sense. Or, perhaps I'm just as dense as cinder blocks.

I grew up there in the 70s and 80's, and since then, the bast...er, I mean the lovely folks who run the town, changed all the crossings over 29 (and by changed, I mean "got rid of"), so here I am, in a town I think I know well, among landmarks I recognize, lost as Hell trying to make a trip from Hickory Ridge to Owen Brown that used to take 5 minutes and now requires a Garmin and a Sherpa.
