Favorite lime food: Lime cheesecake. Yummy.
Here is the recipe,my sister makes it. I can cook, but not desserts.

Ingredients:

2 tb Sugar
1/4 c Butter , melted
1 t Grated Lime Rind
3 pk Softened Cream Cheese (8 oz)
3/4 c Sugar
3 Eggs
1 tb Grated lime rind
1/4 c Key Lime Juice
1 t Vanilla Extract
2 c Sour Cream
3 tb Sugar
1 Fresh Strawberries (Optional
1 Lime slices (Optional)

Directions:
Combine crust ingredients and stir well. Press crumb
mixture evenly over bottom and up sides of a 9-inch
springform pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 5 to 6
minutes. Let cool. Beat cream cheese until light
and fluffy; gradually add 3/4 cup sugar, beating well.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each
addition. Stir in lime rind, juice and vanilla. Pour
mixture into prepared pan. Bake at 375 degrees for 45
minutes, or until set. Combine sour cream and 3
tablespoons sugar; stir well and spread evenly over
cheesecake. Bake at 500 degrees for 5 minutes. Let

4. Gin and tonic
Actually, aside from coffee, milk, and dark beer, I don't think there's any drink that's not improved by lime.

5. Butterflied Garlic Shrimp
Prep and cook time: About 20 minutes

Makes: 3 or 4 servings

1 1/4 pounds shrimp (12 to 15 per lb.), peeled 1/2 cup lime or lemon juice 6 to 8 cloves garlic, minced 2 tablespoons melted butter or margarine 4 teaspoons hot sauce Salt

1. Cut almost through each shrimp down its back, from neck to tail. Pull out and discard veins. Rinse shrimp and lay open, cut sides down, pressing to flatten. Lay butterflied shrimp in a container, about 9 by 13 inches.

2. Mix lime juice, garlic, butter, and hot sauce and pour half over the shrimp. If making ahead, cover and chill shrimp and reserved sauce up to 1 hour.

3. Lay shrimp, spread open, on a grill above a solid bed of hot coals or over high heat on a gas grill (you can hold your hand at grill level only 2 to 3 seconds). Close lid on gas grill. Cook, turning once, until shrimp are pink and opaque but still moist-looking in thickest part (cut to test), 5 to 7 minutes total. Transfer to a platter as cooked.

4. Combine shrimp marinade and reserved sauce and heat until boiling. Spoon sauce over grilled shrimp and add salt to taste.

Per serving: 186 cal., 38% (70 cal.) from fat; 24 g protein; 7.8 g fat (3.9 g sat.); 4.6 g carbo (0.1 g fiber); 365 mg sodium; 190 mg chol.

(It's fancy enough AND easy enough that you can make it for company, and I have made it on the stove no problem. I usually use tapatio for the hot sauce, but my friend, who invented the recipe, uses sriracha.)

10. Take a big barrel of vanillan frozen yogurt. Thaw for an hour till it gets smooth.
Grate two lemons and two limes into the frozen yogurt. Add a table spoon each of lemon and lime juice. Mix up. Then refreeze the yogurt (should take about a few hours). Yummmy!
