Our high temperature was 92 today.

My daughter had softball today. It was hard to keep all the girls drinking enough.

3. I was at Universal Studios
and yes, it was HOT!

I'm currently laying on my bed in shorts and a tank top, waiting for the inside temp to drop.

Ahhhhh, summer!

;)

8. So true!
But I wouldn't trade it for the 4+ months of winter I grew up with!

I've decided that winter is fun to visit but not live in. That's what Christmas break is for. :P

13. Urk.
I don't envy you. Florida's been relatively pleasant this week - mid seventies - but the humidity's already in the high nineties. Once it starts heating up next month, another unbearable summer will be upon us.

18. Wow...
it only got up to about 85 here today - it's supposed to get down into the 50's on Tuesday (I'm here in south FL). I say keep it up, I'd love to have 85 during the day and low 60's at night ALL YEAR LONG! But I'll give up my dreaming - a month or less from now it's going to be at least mid 90's with 9,000 percent humidity!!!

Hope the girls did okay!

28. Got turned around in LA area when driving home from Tucson yesterday
Edited on Sun Mar-23-08 12:55 AM by Whoa_Nelly
And, it was HOT! had to turn off my A/C while sitting in gridlock!

Thought about you...especially when I got caught on a freeway that was headed for Santa Ana...

Luckily, found an I-10 link up that ended up about 20 miles from the I-5 North (Forest Lawn area), adding only a mere 2 hours to my total drive (I-5 at 5:20 PM was grid almost all the way to Castaic!)

But! Thought...if I get stuck running around freeways here, would call you to, 1) stay the night and head out correctly, or 2) to do a quick look-up to help me out of the freeway crazy-making zones!

Fortunately, I knew where I was enough to get on the 5....so, gridlock was no BFD...just glad that I knew how to get my self out of that jam. and up and over the Grapevine, even though I missed my Barstow (much shorter!) connections....

LA Freeways are Kuh-Razy!!!!!!!!

Hi KW! :hi: :loveya:

warm for you this time of year. Good thing you kept those girl hydrated! ;)

High yesterday was around 38 with flurries. We're expecting another couple of inches this week. I'm thinking that spring will never get here. *sigh*

At least the suns out today! :)
