I confess that I have never seen X live.
That will change this Saturday. We'll see if Exene lasts through the show.

Me, I just want to get a good look at that Billy Zoom fella playing his guitar.

2. Oh, I'll have a listen to that new John Doe.
Thanks for the tip!

I think that Billy is smiling because nobody else can play guitar like that.

He might be smiling about his donkey slab, too. Or his love of Christ.

Who am I to question a man's happiness.

5. Hey, Jonny!
Maybe 05/24/08 New York, NY, Fillmore New York At Irving Plaza. It's their 30th anniversary tour.

I don't like RHCP either. I know one is supposed to revere flea, but his band sucks.

How you doin'?

7. I saw them a few years ago here in Austin.
Fantastic show. Billy Zoom has a personal bodyguard that stands with him on stage. Of course, Austin punk fans have this nasty habit of chucking beer bottles on stage. Thankfully there were no incidents.

9. I wish I could remember more details.
It's not that I was drunk or otherwise inebriated. I just have a shitty memory. I know I enjoyed myself a lot.

I hope you get a good show.
