Are olives a vegetable or a fruit?
I was suddenly pondering this as I ate them out of the jar with my cute little olive fork.

25. They are a fruit. "Vegetable" is not actually a botanical term. "Fruit" is.
Hence the confusion about the tomato fruit which is used as a vegetable.
