1. I'm going to see a real'tor on Friday
I hope he's nice! I hope he gets me the apartment I want. I'll make sure not to call him a Ree' la ter.

16. He had a daily segment on words/language and their correct pronounciation
and, he was on the air for over 50 years in the Hartford area and usually had over 50% of the market share in the ratings.

but, one of his segments would be the "word of the day" where he would make sure to pronounce certain words correctly, like realtor.

20. My real-tor was
giving the Owner of the firm the daily briefing. She concludes by saying: "Yesterday, three Brazilian homes were sold."

"OH NO!" the Owner exclaims. "That's terrible!"

The Owner's staff sits stunned at this display of emotion, nervously watching as the Owner sits, head in hands.

Finally, the Owner looks up and says, "How many is a brazilian?"

10. I am a Realtor, and when I went for orientation for
our local MLS board the instructor made us all say "Realtor" about fifty times, like we were in fucking grade school. She also basically told us to vote Republican. The old "I can't tell you how to vote but these politicians (she names a few names) are the ones who do the most for Realtors" bit. I almost got up and walked out!!

17. Basically. She was really pushing for our Congressman
who was Gil Gutknecht (Bush butt sniffer 1st class) at the time. :puke:

The National Association of Realtors is hugely Repub also, I believe.

27. Well, according to the American Heritage Dictionary,
On January 24th, 2009, in the oval office of the new Democratic president:

The Secretary of Defense is giving the President the daily briefing. He concludes by saying: "Yesterday, three Brazilian soldiers were killed."

"OH NO!" the President exclaims. "That's terrible!"

The President's staff sits stunned at this display of emotion, nervously watching as the President sits, head in hands.

Finally, the President looks up and says, "One Brazilian is too many! I am glad that we are beginning to draw down our presence in Iraq and put an end to this long national nightmare."

:hi:
