Poll question: Top 100 surveyed, name a famous couple, past or present, you'd like to spend an evening with.
Just turned on the TV, and it was on Family Feud, and this was the question.

Here are the top five answers, in order, that were given by the survey takers, with the number of people who gave that answer in parentheses.

I offer an "other" category as well.

Who would you pick if you had the chance to spend the evening with any couple, past or present?

I sure as hell wouldn't pick Brad and Angelina, that's for fucking sure.

Remember, the survey specifically included FAMOUS in the question.

My answer surely would change based on mood, but right now I'm thinking an evening with Abraham and Sarah (assuming through this magic that we can understand each other) would be an amazing evening. I'd love to get a few hours of asking Abraham what he thinks about the three religions he spawned, and how we're acting today.

4. Mr & Mrs Warren Buffet
They like to get T-bone steaks at Gorats, which I can fully support (although among Omaha's legacy restaurants, I prefer Johnny's Cafe).

I can compliment him on his community mindedness, his choice to be a Democrat, and ask him for stock tips. I'd like to ask her how she feels about Warren staying in Omaha, instead of heading for Hawaii, Dubai, or Switzerland.

I imagine they'd have some choice observations to make on the present Resident. Simone and Jean-Paul would be a second choice: should I make a phone call? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=crIJvcWkVcs

And I'd love to ask Yeshua and Miriam if the rumors are true.

Brad and Angelina aren't even on my radar.

28. I liked your answer at first, but then...
I figured that, in reality, Abraham was a really simple guy. If you asked him what he thought of the three world religions he had spawned and their current relations to each other, and you could understand each other, he'd probably say, "Uh ... what? Hey, want me to show you how to milk a goat?"

Then Sarah would smack around for the whole Hagar thing, and then your dinner party would be officially ruined after he dragged a goat into it.

45. Of those choices,
JFK and Jackie, fo sho. I am too young to remember them, so it would be very cool to see what it was all about and why it had such an effect on this nation.

But in all reality, other. Um... Can I say Jesus and whoever he may or may not have been boinking? If not, Adam and Eve, because as christian, yet a student of history, and biology, I would be very curious as to their existance, their own self understanding, the times they lived in outside of a relatively small example in a book that is arguably more about teaching than literality, etc.
