Seriously - who is going to the Democratic Convention in Colorado
I'm really thinking of doing it. I have about $200 in hotel credits for either a Best Western, Marriott or Hyatt hotel chain. And I would be happy to share the room with other preferably non-smoking females

1. Have you posted this in the Colorado forum?
Maybe there are some folks out there to meet up with. Given that the primaries may last all the way to the convention, somehow, being in a real live GD:PP is a bit scary!

10. I know one alternate delegate.
And for the life of me I don't know how this person will cope.
Or, more particularly, those who will have to deal with person.

I am avoiding even gender identification.
This person, in our local Democratic organization, stands up to speak and everyone groans.
Because we know person will take 20 minutes and several thousand words to say something that could be expressed in one or two sentences.

We will get asides to asides.
And then go off on tangents to tangents to a long list of 'what ifs' and 'howevers'.

Person is a former college professor of history.
I pity person's pupils.
And fear for the Democratic Party if people like this can get as high as this person.

And no, you would not like to be person's roomie.
Person would drive you bats.

11. I'd offer to put you up myself...
Seeing as I'll be living in Boulder again as of the end of April. However, I'll be living with my sister and she's a quite a bit on the Freeper side of the American political divide, so she probably wouldn't like some of my Democratic chums holing up there.

I sure hope there will be a meet-up or two... I'd love to meet some of my fellow DUers.
