Dubai's Springs and Meadows suffer without water (Funny Headline)
A little karmic payback for the McMansion set in Dubai...

Residents of The Springs and Meadows said they have been forced to make special arrangements because the water supply to their area was cut two days ago.

The Dubai Electricity and Water Supply Authority (Dewa) confirmed a disruption in water supply to the area and reassured residents the supply would be restored as quickly as possible. Dewa did not say what caused the disruption... He said: “We have been struggling for two days now. Dewa assured us the water supply would be restored by 12pm today (Thursday), but so far it has not happened. Fortunately I do not have children.”

“All showers at the gymnasium were full because residents had no other option but to shower and brush their teeth there.
“One of my friends called me up to say his two small kids suffered from food poisoning and were vomiting all night, but he had no water to clean up or wash them. I am so angry because I called Dewa and they said the water supply would be restored by late afternoon (Thursday). I have guests from Europe arriving.

“I can get bottled water for drinking purposes, but what about other basic needs?” he added... http://www.gulfnews.com/nation/Society/10201109.html

They are just getting a small taste of what the workers who built their McMansions live with daily!
