Grey wolf hunts planned after wolves removed from "endangered" list
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/23856723/

So grey wolves have finally managed to recover enough that they are no longer in imminent danger of extinction. So what's next? Of course--let's go KILL them again! I'm sure we can manage to undo decades of dedicated species rehabilitation in a year or two! :banghead:

Sometimes it seems like we're only saving some of these endangered animals so that assholes with guns can have the sadistic pleasure of shooting them again in the future. I'm not talking about farmers protecting livestock; I'm talking about the kind of person who would hunt and kill a wolf for no better reason than Because He Can.

I don't "get" humanity sometimes.

2. Wolves need laser guided missles to make things even
Assholes. Are they going to eat the wolves? Or is this just for fun? (I know the answer and disgusted by it)

4. That is very disturbing.
I sponsored a wolf when they were trying to re-establish them in Yellowstone. But I think she was killed, too.

A lot of people love wolves... I hope there is a public outcry against this.

5. I have cattle and sheep
and I have NO problem with wolves being out and about. I love them.
Most of our cows have pointy horns. The idiots around here blame coyotes every time they loose an animal. See, the cow dies and the coyotes show up to have a snack and the idiot farmer thinks the coyote killed the cow! I watch coyotes hunt mice around my cows and calves often and the cows ignore them. If a strange dog shows up though all hell breaks loose.
The farmers are belly aching there's too many deers around.........
