i'm a "bitch". i know it and i embrace my "bitchiness". as tina fey said "bitches get things done," and while i'm generally a nice person, i don't let myself get walked all over and i don't put up with BS. most of this is when it comes to my fellow young people and specifically young guys. i don't do the dating thing here because I haven't come across many guys that i get along with unless they were just someone i like as a friend or else gay, and i'm known as being a "bitch" because of that. since it is a small town i know most of the guys my age around here and they know i'm either not interested or just want to be friends. well, over the past few weeks i've been getting "hit" on quite a lot, and it is just.. odd. especially since most of the guys who have been doing it are guys that i really don't like and i have made that pretty obvious, and what is even weirder is the fact that the "bitchier" i am to them, the more they seem to like me.

it is just weird to me. *sigh* guys are such odd creatures.

1. Oh Ava...
As old as I am - 46 years - I will never truly understand men. Maybe it's because I had three sisters and no brothers, I don't know. I wish I had some advice for you.
:pals:
p.s., I don't think you are a bitch, at all, btw!

2. My dear Ava...
Could it be that they've discovered that they like a strong woman?

5. you need to give yourself permission to be a teenager
relax a little bit. Enjoy your youth.

You seem to be too mature for your age. I was really really serious when I was teenager, and now looking back it was a bit ridiculous.

Guys always hit on girls, thats just a fact.

Also - there is a difference between a bitch and an assertive woman.

6. People are often attrcted to confidence, and people often want what they can't have.
And teenage boys tend to want anything that moves. I know, it wasn't that long ago that I was one. :P

Just don't let their actions dictate yours. You are who you are, no matter how annoying they get because of it.

9. I don't understand men, either, not when it comes to dating.
I don't like to be with all women all day, particularly all young women like myself--estrogen overload, I guess. :D But when it comes to men/young men and dating, I'm completely lost.
