If their pitching staff stops doing it's Venus DeMilo impression, they have a good shot.

9. I've missed way too many games in the past few seasons
I plan on watching all I can this year.

Have a great season, hope the Braves do well, except for when they play a certain team. ;)

10. I missed a bunch mid-season last year.
Hoping to get my boy interested this year, much to his mother's annoyance. :D

Best of luck to the Phillies in winning the wild card. ;-)

13. Red Sox over Diamondbacks
Sleeper team: Tampa Bay. They have some good young players, and I think Joe Maddon might be on the verge of making it click. If Kazmir and Shields get a little help at the back of the rotation, they could be a strong 3rd in the brutal AL East.

23. I think we have a realistic shot at the pennant this year.
Some actual pitching behind Smoltz and Hudson, good mid-order lineup...we could have a good year, yeah. :)

They won't win the Series--but they'll finally be serious contenders in the NL Central, at least thru August...and it's about time...
