If I'd been born a boy, my parents were going to name me Michael Paul. What about you? :hi:

15. I'm not entirely certain, but
my mom and aunt were pregnant at the same time, though my mom was due first. She couldn't come up with another girl name, so she stole the name my aunt had picked out. Thankfully, my aunt had a boy. Had I been a boy and my mom had still stolen my aunt's choice, I would have been Adam. ;)

Which are both names that I like, so that could have been cool.

What's funny is that my dad's cousin who is a few years younger than him ended up naming his daughters Allison and Michelle, so my potential names did at least end up getting used by someone. Especially odd is that my parents both swear that they never discussed the names with my dad's cousin; apparently they just had similar taste in girls' names!

I was just wondering because the only place that I have seen the name "Waker" was in his stories about the Glass family- Waker was one of the seven kids. But perhaps it used to be a more common name or something.

85. I was the same way when I was pregnant. I was SO sure
that I was having a girl that I didn't bother picking out a boy's name. Then I had an ultrasound 30 days before my due date that clearly showed proof that I *definitely* wasn't having a girl, lol. I spent the last 30 days scrambling, trying to figure out a decent boy's name.

If OktoberKid had been a girl, his name was going to be Rhiannon Elizabeth. :)

86. I am fairly certain the name Henry would have been involved. My mom would
not have agreed to anything less than naming her son after her father and brother. Possibly Richard, for my dad's Grandfather would have been there.

I had a long last name so our first and middle names (2 sisters) were all short and uncomplicated.

When my mom was preg with my baby sister, the boy's name she came up with at the time was Henry Willis...my other grandfather's first name was Willis. Since I ended up named for the 2 grandmothers, it stands to reason a boy would have been named for the 2 grandfathers.

I would have used Henry somehow if we had a son but we had a daughter.
