Have you ever had a headache that made you feel drunk?
I feel terrible! It's a migrainy kind of headache that I'm pretty sure is pollen related. I've had it off and on (mostly on) ever since the Bradford Pear trees started blooming over a week ago. My left ear is totally plugged, and my right ear goes in and out. I think it's screwing with my equilibrium, thus the "drunk" feeling (without the fun, I might add).
Ibuprofin and hot showers aren't working. This sucks! :grr:

7. I don't think so...
It's been going on for over a week now, and I've had similar symptoms...headache and plugged ears...coinciding with the blooming of the pear trees, only it's worse this year. Driving to my gig tonight, I realized that the trees are everywhere. They're more weed than deliberate planting now...like kudzu.

that was going around.

I practically had to lever him off the couch, poor guy. He was miserable.

8. I've been taking Alavert...
which has kept me from sneezing and eye-watering. It's the same stuff...Loradatine.

5. I've had headaches that made me off balance
but that was the only resemblance to drunkenness, otherwise it felt like poo poo.

10. Usually yes...
Maybe I should have too much to drink, so I'll have a good reason for the headache...

11. Try taking decongestants for a few days
instead of the Alavert. You have fluid built up in the sinuses and the inner ear. Combine that with extra strength Tylenol for the pain. This is what I do when I have had the same thing in the past and it really works. I hope you feel better!!
