I sent someone after a bucket of steam today for an April Fools joke..IT WORKED!

I kept a straight face and told my co-worker that I needed a bucket of steam. "Where do I get that at"? she inquired, "From the coffee machine in the break-room"?
"There's a steam dispenser by the laundry room", said I.
"Funny. I've been here two years and never noticed that"
Keeping my straight face I told her to look next to the conner cutter. She went off looking for it, and not finding the steam dispenser nor the conner cutter, she asked one of the other nurses and was promptly told that said steam was coming out her ass.

A true story on the night shift last night.

Office manager would send newbie secretaries for the paper slicer.
"You mean paper cutter?"
"No, the slicer. We save money by buying solid blocks of paper and slicing sheets off as we need them."
