After that Beaver post, it re-amazed me how well adapted Beavers are. Basically they're huge rats who have
- Evolved huge, oar like paddle tails - Re-evolved webbed feet - Changed from the solitary structure of most rodents to pack culture - Developed bigger brains and the ability to use tools
There are so many animals out there with really neat adaptations. I know of many fish species, for example, that change their sex. Groupers and snook to name two.
