I have to take the cat to the vet today for a check-up
That's HIS April Fool's joke. :P

Which means I will be spending a good portion of the morning crawling under the bed and dragging him out as soon as he sees the cat carrier. I will endure several lacerations as I stuff him in it. Then I will listen to him howl all the way to the office.

Once we're there, he will be cute and charming for the vet and all the techs who will tell him what a good boy he is.

Then I will load him back into the car, listen to him howl all the way home and endure silence and recriminations all afternoon. :eyes:

Here is the not-so-little ingrate -

And being silly -

1. Aren't cats the shits?
He'll punish you all afternoon for putting him in that crate.

3. I took mine earlier, he had a dental problem.
Plaque build-up. He peed in the carrier on the way :eyes: thankfully, the doctor was able to scrape all the plaque away and he's back to being a happy cat. :-)

4. You know about putting treats for him in the carrier, right?
I mean, leaving the carrier in his living space every day, and helping to defuse the freak by giving him some happy associations?

I've got a lot of drama getting four cats to the vet, but getting them into the carriers is the easy part.

5. The best way to get the cat into the cat carrier is to grap his/her two feet and
put them in first. All the way to the bottom. I find it helps cut down on scratches.
