7. I was taking 2 25 mg a day and the script ran out

And insurance won't pay for another refill before Friday. I can get a script for the 50 mg, but just haven't done it yet. So far I haven't run too amok, so I think I can hang on. I just noticed this evening that I'm very envious of all the places my husband gets to go while I'm stuck at home. He's off to Oslo in two weeks to chair the opposing committee for a doctoral dissertation. In early May he goes to the Society of Biological Psychiatry/APA meeting in Washington, DC. In June he gets to go to England for another conference. I suppose I shouldn't complain, as we do have a 16-day tour of Europe scheduled for mid-May, but I'd like to go to the other places, too! I'm not even working at the moment, but my job takes me only as far as the Tarrant County Family Law Center or perhaps the booming metropolises of Cleburne and Granbury, Texas. SIGH.

Have you asked your pharmacy to give you some to tide you over? They might do that.

I'm sorry if you are experiencing some withdrawal, or if you are just feeling out of sorts from stopping it.

It might not even be from that - my life is very routine right now, and I'm eating too much and not exercising as much as I'd like because of my damn back problems, so I'm really feeling sorry for myself. I shouldn't complain, as I really have a very good life - just feeling down right now. Thanks for caring!

It's ok to feel down...you won't feel like that for long. It seems we go in cycles, doesn't it?

I hope you get the meds soon...that really could have a lot to do with it. When I stupidly took myself off Effexor without good phase out dosing, I thought I was going to kill someone.
