I just spilled dried basil on my hot stove burner element and it carbonized and went up in smoke...
Now my house smells like a high school restroom or a rock concert.

At least it wasn't fresh basil that got wasted. That would have been a crime. :)

I hope you can get that burnt herb smell out of your house. That can't be good.

5. I guess it all kind of smells the same. Actually there may have been some oregano in there.
I had taken them both out because I was making pizza sauce. A little basil, a lot of oregano, garlic.
