Not only did his "Surprise Mardi Gras float" (in April) manage to break through a levee and re-flood New Orleans:
While careening out of control, the float crushed Li'l Paul Prudhomme on his scooter.
He got to play a new board game: "Roofs and Ladders".
He had Katrina in his "Final Four Disasters" bracket, along with his dark horse, "The Upcoming War with Iran".
Meanwhile, Poppy took out a subprime mortgage on the White House! They were about to be foreclosed on when the gang showed up with the float -- which turned out to be made from piles of cash that were supposed to be the rebuilding money!!
Who writes this stuff? Are they lurking here??
Two quibbles: The float was playing zydeco music, which is not native to New Orleans but to the area known as Acadiana, around Lafayette. Of course, that could have been meant to represent the Beltway Elementary gang's all-around cluelessness... Also, where was Li'l Dave Vitter in his diaper?!
