Update on my outage
Apparently, the reason cell phones, land lines, the internet and broadcast TV in my area went out for 9 hours was because of...








...wait for it...








...heat.


It seems, they say, the fiber optic cable that contained all these things went under a farmer's field. Farmer set fire to field, heat melted cables.

Ech. :D
