BSG season opener review (obviously, spoilers inside)

Made a different thread from the one that asked for no spoilers.

I thought it was a great opener. Of course I didn't expect much to be resolved. I don't think the big questions will be resolved until the end, developing gradually all season. Also, Moore likes to "open" the season over 2-4 episode arcs much of the time. That said, the episode itself was great.... I will say this though: I wasn't sure how I felt about the sudden cylon fleet bailout at first. But once I saw the previews for next weeks episodes, and the effect its having on the cylons, I thought it was great.

Having Kara back was a little anti-climactic, but I don't think that was the fault of the writing or the plot. I think it was the fault of the gap between seasons with the strike and all.

The first ep did what its supposed to do, got me excited for the rest of the season!

COMMERCIALS! My GOD, how many commercials can you play in one hour? Did it seem inordinate to anyone else?
I guess I'm just spoiled, having watched the first three seasons over and over on DVD, but GEEZ!!!
