and it came on about 11:00 pm on Friday or Saturday nights. These were reruns as I wasn't born yet when they were first aired.

I do remember test patterns and the three channels as well. NBC, ABC, CBS

2. I went where others were smart enough to go by pushing the right
button. My post was to have been in reply to the "Creepiest TV show ever" post. Of course, I hit the wrong thing and ended up with a free standing post.

Boy you worked hard, I'll now go take a look. Sorry about the goof, all who know me take my computer faults with a sigh and attribute it to old age.

I am teased at work by all the young and not quite so young co-workers who can whiz through everything they come across on this machine. I fear for my life!

In my defense, I tell my co-workers that while they were learning modern technology in school, at their age, I was learning some other interesting stuff. The list usually keeps them from teasing me too much:

2 years French
2 years Latin
2 years Algebra
1 year Geometry,
Chemistry
Biology,
8 or 10 Lit. and History classes.
All the other "go withs"

I'm probably the only person in what used to be called "college prep" courses that flunked typing. The poor teacher gave me a D for effort so that I could pass. Had to be able to whiz through college term papers on that old Royal so typing was a requirement.
