I am GONE from DU.
For tonight, at least. I just went to hulu.com, and I am going back there for the rest of the evening.

In case you haven't heard of that website, it has a bunch of movies and old TV shows you can watch, free (though there are commercials).

And guess what? They have episodes of "Picket Fences," oh, yes.

Mrs R and I will be watching the computer tonight.

1. My dear Redstone!
Good grief, you scared me!

I thought you were leaving, for crying out loud!

Have fun!

See you later...

I mean, I nearly picked up the phone, dammit!

Looks like I'll be watching the computer more often.

4. BTW, why does YouTube no longer allow you to search for videos by "Most viewed" or "Highest Rated"?
It's pissing me off. :(

5. Wouldn't it be just a tad more fun to watch the monitor?
Whatever floats yer boat, but still...

9. Nah, the monitor gets distracting, with all those pictures and all. No unpleasant surprises when
you just watch the computer.

8. Gettin' my hopes up, damn you

I wish I could watch hulu. Our rural "high speed" isn't quite high enough. Close, but no banana. Have fun!

10. Bummer. Just when you find something that makes the Internet worthwhile...I do know
what you're talking about, though. We couldn't get DSL in the town where we lived until we moved in 2000 (I think it was another 4 years or so after we moved that it was finally available there).

Oh, how I remember the days of starting to upload a customer's website via the modem after dinner, re-trying just before I want to bed, and finally finishing the upload the following night...

It's great. I've been watching the old episodes of "Married With Children."
