but I got a roof over my head

I got food in my fridge

I got people I can talk to

I got a job

I have a son that I love

so really, there's nothing to be upset about in the scheme of things.

edited to add: I also have almost ZERO fucking privacy!!!! I want to look at porn on my computer? Well, I have to make sure NO ONE else is home before I have my...umm.. private time! ( my computer is hooked up in a common area, it's not a wireless connection, but right into the hardline )

I have similar thoughts some times. I'm moving this summer to a bigger place, but my place is really quite nice. Now, I know you have some less-than ideal things going on in your life, but you have lots of things that others don't, you have your wits and (I hope) your health. Not so bad, I'd say.
