My boyfriend told me I'm going to Hell
Not because I voted for Hillary or that I killed Jesus (although I did -- sorry 'bout that), but because I mused aloud about Thomas Jefferson having a freaky three-way with John and Abigail Adams, and he could tell I was thinking about writing some nasty ol' slashfic about the Founding Fathers. Ben Franklin would have approved of such wickedness, I'm sure -- so long as I flatteringly described his attributes. The BF could not but concede that point.

The weird thing is that he's an atheist who's never even been Christian. Except for him, all of my friends who have told me I'm going to Hell have been Catholic. Odd, that.

So anyway...have y'all been following the John Adams series on HBO?

1. My dear Lilith Velkor!
We have been watching!

Isn't it fascinating?

We were bummed tonight, though...the damn DVR somehow failed to record the newest episode...GRRRRRR!

We reprogrammed it for tomorrow night...

And it had better do it!

We need our fix...

:hi:

2. CalPegglyWeggly!

I find it absolutely brilliant. I watched it with my mom and she thought Fujimoto's weird camera angles were a little offputting, but they are just interesting to me. I don't mind weird angles as long as you hold the damn camera still - I *hate* wigglevision.

No spoilers, but there is a parallel or two to today's situation so vexing that Mom had to remind me not to grind my teeth or tear my hair out.

3. I have a new nickname!
Yeah, I have issues with the jiggly camera work...

Luckily, they don't do it all the time!

I don't mind the weird angles either...

The story is so damn fascinating!

Thanks for the hints! And for the lack of spoilers too....

4. I made it up on the fly
What really gets me about jiggly-cam is that I've seen footage of actual combat that isn't that shaky.
