Edith Piaf
I watched "La Vie en Rose" last weekend. I understand why Marion Cotillard got the Oscar. She was amazing. Here are three songs by Edith Piaf. Her songs, her voice .... just amazing.

2. She really is
I love her songs.

I downloaded her Greatest Gits on my PC Sunday, I will put them on my mp3 player today.

If you haven't watched the movie, you need to. Edith Piaf had such a hard life. And till today she is loved for her songs and the joy she brought the people with it.

3. Dear HoneyChurch
I have loved her for a long, long time.... Her sultry voice and phrasing --- I have a bunch of her music and when it pops up unexpectedly when I am shuffling music on the iPod, I always smile.

Such a tragic figure with a terrible past....

8. Yes, she had a tragic life
and still gave so much joy to the people. And she continued with her singing even in the hardest times. I think it was a safe haven for her, losing herself in her music. Just music, nothing else.

During that month I spent there in Summer 05 :)

I can't remember....Was it you that helped me when I needed the blister bandaids at the pharmacy? It was either you or Heidi or both, it's been so long.

It doesn't feel that long! And I am forever in your debt for that assistance!

Yeah, I'm a little rusty, but I speak it with some of my friends on campus, and can still watch TV5 reasonably well. :)
