He is adorable, and a little naughty, but he's married and completely harmless. Not really an ego boost, but it is fun nonetheless. I told my husband that my boyfriend was in the lobby. I love this building.

4. Yeah, I suck at it.
It's taken me 28 years to master "Hi" and "Would you like to have dinner with me." I'm neither clever nor witty enough to actually flirt. Someone should offer a college course or something.

3. True story:
Edited on Mon Apr-07-08 06:19 PM by Brigid
My mother stopped coloring her gray hair years ago. One day this winter, while I was in the hospital, she was walking past one room where an elderly gentleman was sitting in the doorway. He saw her and started singing, "The old gray mare she ain't what she used to be . . ."

5. An old man, a volunteer in an office i once worked in, planted a surprise kiss
on my lips one day. I was more than a little surprised. What an old coot.

11. Interesting reaction. I've always thought it sad to see an old codger flirt
Sort of like a last gasp, because it's never going to happen. That's the thrill of flirting - that just maybe something will happen. But that's a male perspective, and gathering from the replies, I'm pleasantly wrong!

12. He told me he was still ALL man.
We laughed and laughed. I love old Howard. He's adorable. And he pretends to not like Pru.
