2. How's your blood supply?
You may need to sell a little soon to pay for some of that gas! :D

3. lease expires in December...
Going for something smaller, but it will be tough because I transport rescued dogs with it. Not exactly sure what I am going to do yet, but paying $80 for a fill up is getting a little old.

It is truly a shame, because I use this truck for a worthwhile purpose, but the gas is killing me.

5. O.K., now you are making me feel bad
I do realize there are many good uses for large trucks having lived on a farm.

This was my lame attempt at a copycat - but I think it's great what you are doing with it! :hi:

7. Oh jeez don't feel bad...
I thought this was a serious post. :)

I'm actually a little sad about it, because I do really love the truck, and I can get three good sized dogs in the back seat.

Oh well...I'll work something out, I always do :hi:

4. 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.7L
It's our family car and 99.9% of the time my wife drives it to shuttle our kids around. It still manages to get about 21-22 mpg on the highway, 17mpg in the city, which isn't too bad.

I, on the other hand, have the privilege of riding my 2007 Suzuki DL1000 motorcycle every day, rain or shine. It gets about 37mpg and is a helluva lot more fun than sitting in a 3500lbs cage.

6. I have to agree, for an SUV, 21-22 is not bad
It's the trucks that get, say, 4 MPG that astound me - and there are more on the road than people realize.

8. We just couldn't pass up on the price...
it listed for $36K but we got it for $21K because Jeep changed from the old to new body style in 2005. By doing so, we were able to buy more car than we could have afforded at full price.

In any case, it's a good family car, and since I do all the maintenance, it's cheap to operate.
