Poll question: What do you call it?
and how much cash do you have in it right now?

I call it a handbag and I have a twenty dollar bill...and change.

23. I think I made that avatar in photobucket
a long time ago. She's me :) just a fun little thing I did one night when I was bored.

If you have a photobucket account www.photobucket.com you just click on your album and then there's a tab to create an avatar.

6. Wallet
Over here (in the U.K.) a handbag is what American's tend to call a 'purse'; the actual thing to hold money is a wallet for men and purse for women (generally speaking).

I need to go to a cash machine - only got £5 at the moment, I don't keep coins in there I've got a few pounds worth of change.

17. I once had a roommate named Billfold...
so called because that's what they called them where he came from (Texas). In New Jersey his new friends found the term odd and that became his name. People who were uncomfortable calling him "Billfold" would just shorten it to "Bill". I call it an "abstract value transport device", and at this very moment it holds several units.

28. Seriously.
As his roommate I was probably the only one on campus who new his real name was Joseph. Even his professors called him Billfold. I just called him 'fold. Oh and fives are my prefered units, although those new tens are purty.
