Has anyone else noticed that hit and run new subscribers tend to love the "plain text" post option?

What's up with that? Some people do it habitually, but those who pop in for one post only or to "convert us heathen liberals" tend to go for that plain text thing like a moth to a bug-zapper.

Do they think that somehow using plain text will keep them or their computer from getting "liberal cooties" or something?

I think I had noticed this before, but hadn't made the
connection of just how common it is.  

Plain text does have a certain "je ne sais quoi,"
