I need help with phrasing an email
So for the last 6 months I have had some stupid, stupid, stupid drama going with this guy. To make a long story short, he put the moves on me a few months ago, but he's not available, so nothing happened.

I'm going to be moving out of town at the end of the month, and I want ONE THING from him before I check out of Dodge.

I want him to write me a note, by hand, saying NICE things about me.

This is ALL I want.

(I could go into the long, depressing back story here, but I won't.)

But before we say goodbye FOREVER, I feel like I want to part on positive terms.

So how do I ask him to do this for me?

1. Why is this important to you?
Sometimes things are best left to cut and run. This seems like one of those times. You may never get the note, but you'd be rid of him. IMO that's better.

4. I could explain it, but it would be a long, depressing story
:P

2. My dear Xema...
Well...I think I would write him a email and in it, I would point out all the good times, or something positive like that...

And use that as preamble for asking him to do what you want...

Also, tell him that you want to part on POSITIVE terms...

I dunno...

5. Good luck with it...
I hope he'll deliver...

I know personally how important a hand-written note is...
