I can't say why exactly, but the design of how the person is presented... it's captivating somehow.
I've been alright. The seizure was a double-edged sword in that it's possible it was set off by sleep deprivation - it occurred only minutes after rising from a sleep that only spanned five hours or so. Since then I've made concerted attempts to sleep for very long durations - yesterday it was 12, 13 hours! I put this down to the increase of energy. It's not all one way, though. Often I tire easily, it's true. Still, I'm grateful that I'm showing some improvement. The transplant team reckon my condition will degenerate, barring a miracle. Since the two months since I left hospital on a prolonged basis, I wouldn't say I feel especially worse. I'll take it.
A Russian woman will soon be arriving at our house to cut my hair. It's something she doesn't do often, but she's sympathetic towards my plight. :D Oh and I noticed that thread where someone got a new haircut. I doubt I'll have the balls to contribute. But it's true that my hair is really really really big. As in the past I won't make any complex demands - "just make it a bit tidier, ma'am". It's also important that she doesn't penetrate too near to the scalp as I've been cut in the past and at the moment I'm on a blood thinning drug called Warfarin - a side effect is that I bleed more than a person who isn't on it. Still it's necessary as it makes it easier for blood and oxygen to be distributed more thoroughly through my narrow vessels.
It hasn't been long since I've invested myself in literature, though. For most of my life I would read, over and over again, charming little series that I enjoyed as a child and as a teen. Goosebumps, Animorphs, stuff like that. But now I'm into contemporary and classic material of a more mature nature - my favourite author is Haruki Murakami.
So, yeah. I'm sorry for steering your thread off-topic. It's a strong tendency of mine, for I enjoy writing and can easily let myself go.
