Torchwood Season Finale (*Spoilers most likely*)

Whoa, can't wait until Season 3

1. I don't know if I'll come back (Spoilers)

for season 3. It will depend on who they bring in. If the rumors are true, and Martha and Mickey from Dr. Who come in, I'll give it a chance.

I feel like they just now gave us a change to get to know these characters--why Tosh sometimes hated herself, why Owen was so cynical--only to take the characters away.

2. Two people die (probably gave up on a badly written soap opera)

I've tried watching the show. It's got real EQ, but for plot linearity, continuity (why characters or monsters do things in an episode), and so on (e.g. IQ), it's dilettante.

Mind you, I enjoy "Sliders" and the original "Doctor Who" - shows that have a lot of abstract creativity, but is more a melodrama or "set pieces of drama" at best; not the type of wallowing drama modern "sci-fi" incorporates.
