I highly recommend the movie "Gone Baby Gone".
It's an exciting movie with great acting, a terrific screenplay, and the courage to treat the audience like grown-ups. It reminded me a lot of L.A. Confidential in all of the right ways. I thought it was better than No Country For Old Men and There Will Be Blood.

Ben Affleck may not be the greatest actor in the world, but he can write and direct with the best of them.

2. He wrote "Mystic River" too, right?
I thought that "Gone Baby Gone" was the better of those two films (although I haven't read the novels).

4. All of his books are good - and yes, Mystic River was one of them...
...try 'Shutter Island' for a real brain-twister.

5. Yes, it was very good.
With a fantastic twist.

The whole movie was not what I expected at all.

7. Great movie, great directing, great ending!
I haven't seen There Will Be Blood, but I did not care for No Country for Old Men at all. Just saw Lambs for Lions today. I loved it, but it seemed like it ended too quickly.
