21. She's a mix..
Edited on Mon Apr-14-08 05:46 PM by rainbow4321
Half dachshund and half Jack Russell. A mix right down to her toenails...they alternate colors, black (dachshund) and white (Jack Russell). Fast as a bullet...and that's what her name is.."Bullet". My daughter named her.
Pretty darn smart, too. I wouldn't wake up fast enough for her one morning and I look over to see her nudging my alarm clock with her nose---I guess trying to make the alarm start going off cuz she had noticed in the past that I get up (eventually) when it beeps.
When she doesn't want to go in her crate and I go to pick her up to carry her over to it, she'll flatten her 12 pound body on the ground to make herself too "heavy" to pick up....cuz, ya know, that makes her a whopping **13 pounds**!!

"Guarding" the steps:

24. Out of 6 in the litter..
These were the only 2 w/ these color patterns. The others were all yellow.

I don't how true this is, but what was told to my daughter was that the stray cat mommy got impregnanted "twice"..by 2 different daddy cats. So these 2 look nothing like their siblings. Both of these were the "runts" of the litter but you couldn't tell it by how they get around now! I could've sat all day and watched them romp around together.

Thanks for info on Torties! I'll pass it on to my daughter. She picked these 2 out because they had the coolest color pattern in the litter.

13. Franky is very handsome.
Clever name. Does he have any hearing problems? Many white, blue-eyed cats are deaf; it's something in that combination of genes.

14. Yes, I know ...

I was concerned about that at first when he was a kitten, but he seems to have fine hearing in both ears. He reacts to my voice and movement from all angles and recognizes his name.

I was rather shocked.

and get along well with each other. :)

They're all adorable animals. It would be wonderful to see pictures of them cuddled up together at some point. :P
