9. What was so special about this weekend in San Diego?

I have two students who took off three days to go with their families to the SD Zoo, Sea World, etc., and I was going to do the same thing (if I'd had the money!).

Was there something going on there? A comic book convention or something?

First went there in 1973 when only a few thousand acres had been completed.

14. It was in the mid 80s

But yesterday we were in Mission Harbor so it was cooler there, I would guess in the mid 70s at the shore.

Our high today (we came back today) was 103 (!)

Our Twins took 2 of 3 from the Royals (2 shutout), although Liriano first start in 17 months ended in a 5-1 loss today.
